San Diego County Veterans Services:

Provides professional services for military veterans and their dependents/survivors who may be entitled to benefits from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, the State of California, and other agencies. A partial list of benefits that may be available include education benefits, vocational rehabilitation, compensation for service connected injuries/diseases, VA home loan guarantee eligibility, requests for military records and decorations, etc.   San Diego County has a Veteran Service Officer available at the VANC building.

DoD Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR):

The DoD level Board provides Veterans who were medically separated from their Military Service between September 11, 2001 and December 31, 2009 an opportunity for review of their disability ratings to ensure fairness, consistency and accuracy. The PDBR was created by Congress in 2008 and began reviewing its first cases in June 2009.
