With great pride and gratitude, the Veterans Association of North County (VANC) honors and remembers our veterans with the establishment of our new Veterans Association of North County Resource Center. The building represents our community’s salute to the men and women who have worn our country’s uniform to defend our freedom.
The VANC Resource Center provides a place for all branches of retired, veteran, active, and reserve military personnel and their families to meet and receive needed support. The center is a source for information about social services, veterans’ activities, and veterans’ benefits that will improve the quality of life of those who have served our country on our behalf.
The Veterans Association of North County Resource Center is located at 1617 Mission Avenue in Oceanside and serves more than thirty veteran organizations. The facility is a center to recruit new members, offer links to resources, and provide a centralized location to raise funds for our North County veterans.
“A dream doesn’t become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.” – Colin Powell
Through your generous donations and contributions, the VANC Resource Center is a reality. We need your support to maintain and continue our mission and goals. Please open your hearts to those who have risked their lives for you. You can help by donating funds for building maintenance, project construction and engineering expertise, or volunteering your time to help develop this much needed facility for our local veterans. In addition, rooms in the VANC Resource Center may be sponsored in their entirety or by portion/square feet. A plaque will be displayed outside the sponsored room with the name of the organization and/or individual(s) sponsoring the room.
For more information, to make a donation, or to sponsor a room, please contact us at 760-722-1277. Thank you for honoring the veterans from our own community who have gone into harm’s way to protect our freedom.
